Faux Pas Label produces Generation Z friendly TikTok content.

Instagram’s success came from the notion that it made it easier to be a photographer and share content. Like Instagram, TikTok provides a simpler framework for new content creators to create videos and share them within seconds. (Vaynerchuk, 2019). TikTok is currently the most trending social media platform in the market, TikTok usage has skyrocketed by 15.4% since the coronavirus began (New York Times, 2020). As mentioned in target market, approximately 60% of Generation Z have a TikTok account (Doyle, 2020).

WhyClothing, a start-up clothing brand in Australia uses TikTok as a means to display what their brand has to offer, their TikTok account is also used as a means to link to their Instagram account, which carefully displays each clothing piece they offer.

The sole purpose of TikTok content creation is to increase brand recognition and display the designs for the Faux Pas Label brand, whilst linking all content to our Instagram account. TikTok content is shared media which will be relevant to whatever is trending at the time. According to the TikTok algorithm, you need to create content which adheres to trending challenges, audio and hashtags (McGlew, 2020). Faux Pas Label intends to create TikTok content which is appropriate and appealing to Generation Z consumers (see below).

TikTok content aids Faux Pas Label to build a social media following, achieve brand recognition and help strengthen consumer/brand relationships.
